Associate Lead VAT Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll work closely together with colleagues from different parts of our organisation to develop, implement, and maintain a Global VAT Control Framework, incl. planning and managing reviews thereof. You’ll provide advice to the business but also continuous improvements and root cause analysis on existing VAT processes and dashboards supporting better and scalable VAT processes – all with the purpose of ensuring sustainable and robust solutions supporting the green transformation.

You’ll be part of Indirect Tax team where you, together with your colleagues, will be given ample opportunities to use and develop your talent through applying and interpreting international VAT rules in your daily work but also providing your VAT knowledge in new markets supporting our global growth. You’ll also work in close cooperation with the Digital Tax Solutions ensuring scalable, automated, and efficient processes.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • strengthening, formalizing, and managing our VAT Control Framework
  • ensuring continuous improvement in all VAT processes
  • applying and implementing VAT processes for a new ERP system
  • ensuring VAT compliance in new markets
  • creating VAT awareness in our organisation by arranging training sessions for colleagues.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are perseverant, have good understanding of processes and great analytic skills
  • thrive in being challenged by complexity in business setup and systems (preferably in SAP)
  • are a team player and happy to share your thoughts and experiences
  • have relevant VAT experience from in-house positions, law firms, tax advisors, or tax authorities
  • Are fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
